柔软建筑|历史的编织与对话
Soft Architecture|Knitting the History  


燃冉艺术季青年艺术家群展位于新天地北里广场新天地壹号,这是一栋建于20世纪初期的四层混合结构建筑,具有强烈的历史风格。

The Young Artists Exhibition of the Ran Ran Art Season is located at One Xintiandi in Xintiandi's North Block, a four-storey mixed-structure building constructed in the early 20th century with strong historical aesthetics.






群展文献单元通过双层的展架装置串联起新天地当下与历史的对话与交织。充满温度的编织材料在空间中蔓延,承载着新天地的历史厚度,跳动的颜色和丝线编织成桌面呈现了六位艺术家的当代视角。观众穿梭在双重文献线索中,感知历史、人文与艺术共同编织出的多维的新天地。

The Documentation section of the group exhibition  establishes a dialogue between Xintiandi's past and present through a double-layered installation. Textiles, imbued with warmth, are suspended throughout the space, carrying the depth of Xintiandi's history. Vibrant colors and threads intricately woven into the surface of the table convey the contemporary perspectives of the six artists. The audience is navigated through the dual documentary threads, experiencing the multi-dimensional Xintiandi woven together by history, humanity and art.


本次空间设计从形态上是对”蹦床”原有圆形结构的解构,我们通过想象“一张破旧的渔网”悬浮在空间之中的意象,将平面不断拉伸,延长,蔓延至空间的缝隙,呈现奋力游走的流动状态。

The design concept is a deconstruction of the original circular structure of the trampoline. By imagining "a broken fishing net" suspended in the space, we stretch the plane, extend it, and spread it throughout the space to portray a dynamic and flowing state of vigorous movement.



在材料上,我们保留了蹦床原有的金属框架作为支撑,而台面部分采用彩色弹力绳、毛线混合编制的办法,所有编织部分采用纯手工制作。

In terms of materials, we kept the original metal frame of the trampoline as a support, while the surface is crafted from a combination of colorful elastic ropes and woolen threads, and all the woven parts are produced by hand.


与深圳”绿色蔷薇社会工作服务中心“和上海志愿者的合作中,我们高效地完成了大量的劳动密集型工作,并得以尽可能与合作者交流编织技法。手工制作代替工业化的机器制作,也是更可持续性地与更多参与者、社会机构进行联结合作的方式,其意义大于单纯的生产。

In cooperation with the "Green Rose Social Work Service Center" in Shenzhen and volunteers in Shanghai, we were able to efficiently perform a lot of labor-intensive work and to exchange knitting techniques with our collaborators as much as possible. Instead of industrialized production, the handmade products are a more sustainable way of connecting with more people and social institutions. It is more meaningful than mere production.
